This was a concert organised by one of the 'small groups' in the church. The plan was to raise awareness and some funds for the project they supported in Zomba, Malawi. The church hall was packed to capacity and all enjoyed a varied programme from Jazz to Blues to Southern Gospel. All the money raised in the free will offering was going to purchase mosquito nets and dig wells in Zomba. Solid Ground closed the first half and then brought the evening to a close in word and song.

1500 Hits!
We have been taken aback at the amazing number of 'hits' on the Solid Ground Blog Page since its inception on 31 October 2007. In less than 6 months there have been just over 1500 hits from the following country's: Africa, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Central Europe, Malaysia, Mexico, United Kingdom and United States of America. The wonderful thing is that while Solid Ground may never sing in these country's, the good news of the gospel is being spread every time someone clicks onto our web page. While we praise God for allowing us to be just a tiny part in His master plan, we must never forget, at very best we are only 'Sinners saved by Grace'. To Him be all the glory!

Coleraine Independent Methodist Church
God's presence was very real as Solid Ground sang and spoke of their Saviour who came at the 'Right Time' and whose 'Grace is Sufficient'. Mrs Judith Law, wife of Stephen Law gave her testimony telling of how having tried numerous worldly pleasures for happiness found that the only answer was in Christ. Pastor Stewart spoke from Jeremiah 12 v 5.
