Second Concert & CD Release

Solid Ground will be having a second gospel concert to release their forthcoming CD 'He Made The Way'. It will be held in Hazelbank Presbyterian Church, Coleraine on Friday 30th January 2009. Featuring Solid Ground, Mrs Iris Evans (Belfast), Mr Nigel Davidson (Magherafelt) and the praise band from Hazelbank church. The start time will be 7.45pm. See you there!

Solid Ground Annual Christmas Dinner

Solid Ground and wives went to Millside, Cloughmills the other night for what has become our Annual Christmas Dinner. We were also celebrating the fact that all the vocals have now been recorded on our forthcoming CD and it's now down to Malcom at Cormont Music to do the rest!

Magherafelt Independent Methodist

It was good to renew fellowship with the folks at Magherafelt. The pieces sang by Solid Ground tied in so well as Pastor Nobel Maxwell spoke on God's Amazing Love form John ch 15.

Larne Congregational Church

This was the annual Christmas praise evening organised by the Ladies Guild at the church. Solid Ground sang a number of songs and Jonny Pollock spoke on the true meaning of Christmas from Luke Ch 2. A beautiful supper was provided for all who attended, at the end of the evening.
