To God be the glory great things He has done. It is hard to believe that it is just over a year since Ashley joined us and Solid Ground became a Trio. God has been so good to us in the past twelve months and to Him we give all the glory. Again we thank God for allowing us to help spread the gospel in song. We look forward to a short break from singing but already the diary is pretty full with bookings as far ahead as September 2009. We pray that we will have wisdom as we plan ahead in God's will.

Larne Mission Hall
For Solid Ground singing in Larne Mission Hall is like singing at our home fellowship such is the warmth of the folks there. God's presence was very real as Pastor Trevor Gillanders spoke from 1 Kings 17. Solid Ground are now having a break as the boys go on holiday over the next few weeks and return to practice on the last week of July before singing at Laura & Ashley's wedding on Tuesday August 5th.

Dunseverick Baptist Church
It's just over a year since Solid Ground sang at Dunseverick in their first engagement as a Trio. What a difference a year makes! The main Church building has been recently refurbished and the fellowship have called Pastor Scott from Coagh who preaches on a part-time basis. A new piece for Solid Ground was 'Restore My Soul' which fitted in with Pastor Scott's message from Paslm 116.

Sunday 1st June 2008
Cullybackey Elim Church
The pieces sang and introduced by Solid Ground tied in so well as Pastor Kerr spoke on the question 'What will you do with Christ'? God makes no mistakes and all who attended had a decision to make as they left - to either accept or reject the Master!
