June Engagements
27th - Ballee Baptist Church
Singing in your own fellowship is never easy but God always undertakes and provides the strength. This was the last engagement of the current season for Solid Ground before the summer break. Pastor Billy Jones was the speaker at a well attended Ballee and Solid Ground sang 'What a Lovely Name', 'Gone', & 'Had It Not Been' with Wully singing a solo piece 'It Wouldn't Be Enough'. A two month break now before heading out again. Branagh Memorial Church, Belfast is the first of the new season on Sunday 5th September.
13th - Carr Baptist ChurchThis was a guest service with many family and friends attending an almost packed church. With an opportunity to give a word of testimony Solid Ground brought along one of the young men from Ballee Baptist, David Cameron to tell how he became a Christian and what God means to him today. Solid Ground sang 7 pieces with Pastor Morrison bringing a closing word. A beautiful supper was then served in the church hall by the ladies of the fellowship
6th - Dungannon Independent Methodist
As always it was good to return to Dungannon and fellowship with Pastor Robert Maxwell and the dear friends there. Please continue to pray for Pastor Maxwell as he continues to preach despite much pain in his legs since his accident.
