This weekend is the annual Missionary Weekend at Ballee and as has become a custom Solid Ground sang at the first meeting. SG sang 'No Other Word For Grace', 'The Longer I Serve Him' and 'One Holy Lamb'. The speaker at the first missionary meeting of the weekend was Mr Tom Rice, representing the Society for the Distribution of Hebrew Scriptures. Next engagement - Sunday 11th
March 2012 at 6,30pm in Ballymena Congregational Church.
Sunday 19th - Coagh Baptist Church
Pastor Geoffrey Ward was the speaker at Coagh on Sunday. Pastor Ward has been fulfilling the role of caretaker Pastor for some months now however he finishes in the next few months as the members at Coagh have called a new Pastor who will commence his ministry in May. Solid Ground sang 4 pieces including a new piece 'No Other Word For Grace (but amazing)' and enjoyed some supper at the home of Pastor and Mrs Scott. Thank you! Sunday 5th - Iron Hall, Belfast
It was exactly one year since the last time Solid Ground made the visit to the Iron Hall in Belfast. This time the guest speaker was Pastor David Scott from Coagh Baptist. Solid Ground sang a number of pieces during a 20 minute slot in the service. Next engagement Sunday 19th February at 7pm in Coagh Baptist Church.
